Damor Engineering Ltd is not continuing with the annual external accreditation programme for our Quality Assurance system, and therefore no longer state that we are ‘ISO9001 certified’.
However, we will continue to operate and develop the same quality system and procedures, based around the requirements of BS EN ISO9001, as we have done for our externally-accredited system since 1999.
Our principals are well-versed in Quality Assurance system requirements for design and manufacturing activities. Long before the ISO 9000 series was even conceived, we were working with its ancestors, i.e. the UK Ministry of Defence’s DEFSTAN 05/24-2, then NATO’s Allied Quality Assurance Publication No 4 (AQAP-4) which became the basis of the British Standards Institute’s BS5750 etc and then ISO9000…..
Should any of our clients require to perform their own external audits of our processes and systems, we will be happy to accommodate them on an individual basis.
